I just got my car back from the shop had installed, 1 piece ds, cai, GT500 tb, LT headers, 3400 stall. I am hitting right at 8.5 lbs of boost right now.. What gears do you suggest... 3.73's or 4.10'? I have 305/35/18 Mickey Thompson DR now which are right at 26 inches tall. The car made right at 390 to the tire, but the tuner was saying that the way the convertor was loading on the dyno it was reading low, and stalling around 4-4500... On the street it acted like advertised and flashed around 3-3500 rpm. He said it can defintely take more timing with this convertor than with the stock one. The convertor is a PTC, locked nicley on WOT. He also had to work on the tuning to get the GT 500 tb to be not so touchy on the drive by wire.

Thanks.. When I am on it kinda sounds like a pissed off bumble bee... Loud and raspy.. You got some nice mods yourself. Think I should go with the 4.10's over the 3.73's? I was thinking about NVR cams such as; Detroit Rocker or BBR stage 1.. I am right at 110 on the IAT's.

I would say 410s but i havent been to the track yet with my setup and when i do I will have some DR's. The detroit rockers do give the car some nice sound. My girlfriend hates it when people stare at my car when were driving around. She thinks there creepy people and im like there just admiring the sound and the look

I love my 4.10s. Car feels amazing driving around town.....power is always there. Whats your rwhp? Will you be pushing the limit by adding cams?

I am right at 390 rwhp, but the way the convertor was responding to the dyno.. It was flashing at 4-4500 rpm and not giving a true reading, but on the street it was flashing right at 3-3500 rpm right where it should.. He thinks ( tuner) it is easily 400+ rwhp. I had a 99 Camaro Z28 that had typical bolt ons that went 12.0's and this feels stronger... So who knows..
