Default 2011-2012 5.0 vs Fox 5.0

OK...I need some convincing.

I have no intentions of getting rid of my 90 GT, but I have 2 options:

-Pick up a low mileage triple black 93 GT Auto Vert and keep the Saab Vert we have now-which is actually a sweet car other than slow as hell.

OR

-Sell the Saab and forget the 93 and pick up a 2011 or 2012 5.0 Vert Auto

Are the New 5.0s all I hear about?

Please give me your thoughts and try and convince me...!!!

Sell the Saab, the new 5.0 is BAD. I just got my 2012 GT premium 2 weeks ago and would not trade it for anything. Go test drive one and see for yourself.

How is the ride in the new 5.0s from the factory..?

Meaning do they handle pretty well stock or do they need a little help?

One of my best friends has a GT-500 with quite a few mods and it is really quick, but almost too smooth for me-Lincoln like--I imagine that is how the new 5.0s are.?

I am afraid to go test drive one, because I kind of know the outcome.!

You have to go test drive a new 5.0....don't bring your check book, you will buy!! Huge difference from a Fox. Sounds bad axx under WOT, Rides/handles light years better, Ergonomics are light years ahead....these car can't be compared.

The only thing to take into consideration is the price. 35K+ for a 2011 compared to 6K for a 93? Is the top down experience worth the cost? Test drive one and think about it.

Good Luck.

I paid 29k for my 2012 GT. Do what I did and have the best of both worlds! Old and new 5.0

Saabs are the worst pieces of crap on the road these days...
Unreliable as hell, not to mention slow and butt ugly as well.
You might be the lucky guy that found the only trouble free one, lol.

Yeah I'd sell that thing and get the new Stang.
By doing so, you'll be making a statement: Having the old and new 5.0

IMO you already have probably the mustang that we all wish we had (Fox body GT). Now go for the mustang that has become the best mustang GT (performance wise) ever built....
