Feedback on Diablosport's U7140 tuner
Hi Guys, I am looking to possibly pick up Diablosport's U7140 tuner for my '06 GT and was looking for some feedback from people who have used the Diablosport tuner on their Mustang. My Mustang is fairly stock with a K&N drop in air filter and a Moroso axle back 3" stainless exhaust. Can anyone give me any pros and cons of this tuner as well as the best prices you have found, I came across one for $275 including shipping online. Thanks for any information you guys can give me, I appreciate it.

The Diablosport tuner is not much different thanthe SCT in that it's simply the hardware we use to load pre-written tunes. Unfortunately, you won't see the same RWHP gains from the tunes that come from Diablo (or SCT) that you'll see from tunes written by others such as Brenspeed and AM. You'll be better off buying a tuner with pre-loaded tunes from either of those 2. They can write you tunes for your K&N. On it's own, your K&N may be gaining you about 3-5 RWHP. The CAI & custom tune combo will gain you 20-25 RWHP. The tune is about 80% of the power gainer.

I've had a Diablo since '06, got it with a C&L Racer CAI and bought custom tunes
from Bama when he had his on place, runs good, just have bolt ons, nothing internal.
If you get Diablo, make sure when you get custom programs you save them
on a disc, if you ever "reload stock" to car it will clear "custom tunes" from
Diablo and you will have to reinstall from computer.
If I was getting one now I'd go with SCT just because it's easier to find tuners.
