So I just installed my first mod on my 2002 V6 which was the AM $70 CAI. Is it true that I need to get a tune now? If I do need to get one, what would be the best custom tune to use for my car? Also, how do I take advantage of the 6% discount that we get with AM for being a member here?

If the below CAI is the one you bought, then a tune is not required according to the specs.

Do some reading before you buy anymore mods. You will save yourself some money in the long run.

On the S197's (you've posted in the 2005-2011 section), you only need a tune if you want any power gains. A stand-alone CAI on our 4.0's and 4.6's gain very little (3-5) RWHP and even a no-tune-required CAI has been known to throw a CEL for running lean.
