Default Bad brake sensor?

My onboard computer keeps giving the "Low brake fluid" error. I have had it since day one of purchasing the vehicle. I called the dealership and they assured me the brake pads were to spec (I know the error will sometimes come when brake pads are worn). I also topped off the brake fluid. The error will tend to turn on when I get a car wash and the wheels are scrubbed. I have not taken the pads off to see their wear but it seems like the brake sensors are not working correctly.

Any advice anyone can give?
Thanks.

There are no brake "sensors". If the red brake light comes on when washed or raining you may have a bad ground/wiring in your parking brake cable system

It doesn't come on only when exposed to water though. Often times it will come on randomly.

Well then you may have a bad sensor in the master cylinder reservoir, the light will illuminate when the fluid level gets low also.
