I personally use only Amsoil 0W20 fully synthetic. Lots of good synthetics out there: Amsoil, Royal Purple, Mobile 1, etc...

I thought Motorcraft was synthetic BLEND? That's what I use anyhow, that & a Motorcraft FL-820S filter.

5-20 Mobil 1 with a Motorcraft filter. I change it every fall before I put it up, once a year. I only average 1000mi a year. Doesn't seem like much, but with my back I can barly get into it with the top up some days. Those miles are savored.

Default Mobile Super full synthetic vs. Mobile 1

This may sound like a silly question but I'm a bit of a newbie. Advance Auto Parts is selling 10 quarts of Mobile Super Synthetic 5w-30 for $30 if you enter this code "ES123" at check out. Thats $3 a quart and a hard deal to pass up BUT is this the wrong oil to use in my 2007 Mustang GT? I know Mobile 1 is the better option but what does that mean?

And Walmart is selling a 5 quart jug of G-Oil 5W-30 Bio-Synthetic Motor Oil (never heard of it) for $26 and a $20 mail in rebate cuts it down to $6. At just over $1 a quart that's a really tough deal to pass up BUT once again is this the WRONG oil to use. Will these oils cause damage to my engine or are we just talking about a more frequent oil change? Using a baseline of an oil change every 3K miles versus Mobile 1 which claims 15K between changes, not counting time (which we know is money) the cost of buying 2 cases of either of these seems to balance out if an oil change is need every 3K miles.

Suggestions?

Theoretically, doesn't that mean that if you change the oil filter frequently (maybe once a month) the oil will always be clean and never need changing?
