I will preface this by saying that this might be the most stupid question ever asked, but it is bugging me...

I have checked the oil in my '11 5.0 several times and each time, I can not tell for sure if it is reading right. Dipstick shows oil on the edges of the blade, between the two lines, but nothing in the middle. Is this normal? Does it need more oil? I guess that is two questions... any help is appreciated.

Oil should show completely around the dipstick at the proper level. If not, you may be low. See you dealer to verify/document it is using oil.

Thanks AzPete. Have an appointment with dealer next week. Will add a little oil and recheck the stick.
