Default so im changing my 4.6l

so i decidced to get a new engine for my gt/cs

i went with coast high performance , its 4.6l stroked and bored out to a 5.l iron block with forged internals , now anybody know where i can get all the gaskets and such , im transfering most of the accessories over from my old engine since its just a bare block with all the internals , any recommendation if i should update certain things

sounds like a fun project for sure. the only thing i'd say is make a list
of the gaskets, o-rings, bolts, etc then call Tousley Ford
(Steve in FRPP department) to place the order.

allright , right now im saving all the cash for the gaskets and head bolts and such , hopefully beg of august this project will have a go

All those gaskets, bolts etc....can add up. I have heard upwords of $1000. How much was the motor? Good luck with the project.

good luck with the project dude, FWIW a dude on a FB list i am on just had a CHP SB blow at supposedly very low stress situation and they told him to bad.

GUYS I NEED YOUR HELP!!! For those of you who did not know, I broke a rod the 1st week of April, Bought a Forged block from CHP that the reps had told me it would hold up and beyond my Paxton set up and my 125 wet shot. Well 9 days into the break in period the car had a MAJOR failure! Im talking broken crank shaft! 2 broken rods, one melted piston in the block, one bent and warped rod and piston, and a few other fun facts! Best part, this happend in my neighbor hood, in a school zone accelerating from a stop sign doing 35mph at about 2500 rpm. Boost was set at 5 psi for break in but at that low of a speed never saw boost. The guys at Coast High Performance (CHP) tell me that since the car was blower equipped their not fixing anything! So much for being able to withstand my blower and nitrous as told by them before buying the block. Heres where I need help....Anyone selling, or know of a cheap, even OEM 3V short block I can buy that is in good working condition that I could use to get the stang running so that I can take it to Ford and trade in for a 2011 GT500.....Please guys, help me out!!!

BTW Shane got any pics of the Recaros?
My buddy has a Boss but he bought it off the lot and could not get the Recaros.
I'd like to see what they look like!
Especially coming from the guy that Sold the first Boss and has owned two already lol
