Hey guys. So far the car has JLT intake, Roush offroad exhaust, J&M lower control arms, and a sct canned tune. Tomorrow morning my car goes into Kesatie Motorsports in Sarasota, Fl to get my 4.10's installed. I cant wait to get the gears put in!
just couldn't wait to tell some mustang people. Any thoughts of what I should do next?

I was thinking a wider rear tire. how scary are drag radials in the rain? being in florida we get our fair share. This isn't my daily but sometimes I get stuck out places in the rain

Sweet !!!! I grew up in JAX, It do rain a bit there in FL.
I will be at Hooper's Rear End Exchange in Sun Valley CA on Friday to get mine installed. A 23rd Wedding Anniversary present from My wife.

Are you auto or manual? If auto you need a good tune. With a brenspeed or AM auto tune your car will be chirping second and third gear. If you race your car, you definatly need some DRs. Congrats on the new mod. My car felt like such an animal once the gears went in. A great mod.

I lived in FL & drove in the rain all the time with my Nitto D/Rs. Never had an issue. Just drove responsibly.

I say get a torque convertor. I just got mine installed and they are amazing. My car is a beast in the lower and mid rpms. I havent been to the track yet but im willing to bet atleast .4 to .5 will be shaved off my time. This mod doesnt get much attention but it should be. The best mods I have done in order are saleen supercharger, torque convertor, cams, 410's. Do the torque convertor and u will thank me later.

Sounds like the perfect combo install to me....gears / converter.

THEY ARE IN! They feel really nice. The way i can explain the gears is that the power just comes easier and is always more available. I honestly was a little scared of getting the 4.10's I had 3.55's and I seriously wouldn't have gone lower then the 4.10.

As for the torque converter I have a Manual so that mod is not an option for me. If I had an auto I would def have one.

Any other ideas?
