Here's my .02 on blowers.
Get a twin screw, either a whipple or a KB. The most efficent of the positive displacment blowers, very reliable, easy to tune and work on. Have the most potential and can be dialed down to whatever you want.
The roots are okay, but why would you limit yourself? Yeah I'm sure you don't plan on upgrading, but it happens, more often than not. Get something you can grow into and be happy with. The most popular blowers in the twin screw catagory are the whipple and the KB.
The end.

I did alot of homework before starting on mine.... I ended up with the Whipple HO kit. I am running a 3.4 inch pulley making 9.5 PSI, 3:55 rearend, JBA shorty headers, MRT catted H pipe, Borla axlebacks, and relocated my IAT sensor to an intake runner. I had my car tuned back in the spring by Walsh Motorsports in Wixom, MI and my car made 484 rwhp, and 458 ft.lbs of torque. Couldn't be more pleased!
