I was installing a ported throttle body and noticed the oil, so I purchased the AMP unit on eBay. I had to replace the 5/8 plastic connectors with 1/2 brass for my v6. I just dropped her in tonight and now I can sleep a little better knowing the air flowing into my engine is cleaner. :-) As for the throttle body, I'm working with BAMA to adjust my tune.

Just an FYI... I bought mine on eBay since I couldn't find one specific for a V6. It's sufficient for my purposes, but don't use the cheap hose these catch cans come with. The hose will collapse due to the vacuum when it heats up. You will have to plumb it with something more durable. In my case I used brass fittings and 5/8 copper tubing. I also used quality heater hose to make connectors and hose clamps to keep it all together. Then I covered it with the high-temp black hose dress up. Later on I'll look into a cleaner setup but it's good for now.

This? PCV side does the majority of this right? Would doing both be worth it though, considering this can be done for less than one of the more fancy-pants ones?

I just put the Steeda version on my 427R (by the way - price is steep for what I got - you can fab one just as good for cheaper - oh well). Put 25 miles driving in on the way to work, and the collector is coated in a thin film of oil, with a little accumulation on the bottom. Had no idea that much oil vapor was going back into my intake. Definitely a must-have, especially if you're supercharged.

Yeah, I just said "f-it" last week and just got the JLT one. As it took less than 20 seconds to install as it's all done up about as factory as possible, I figured it was worth the extra money. $105 total with the forum discount, so I'm satisfied with it.
