55k SHOOT!!!! Your good to go, I agree with above, do a good 50k service and bolt it on and roll!!!!

If anyone is interested in the vortech's or paxton's I will do special pricing below retail for the forum guys!

As stated above the positive displacement blowers are more "on demand" if you will like with kenne bell and whipple, but the centrifugal chargers make good power as well. LOT of guys with crank driven prochargers making some serious power.......(outlaw drag radial and x275 classes)

Definitely going to go FI. Now the fun begins of saving the rest of the money. Well at least I will have some time to figure out which setup will work best for me. It's my DD so will the centri kits be better since they won't be pushing as much boost at lower rpm's? Also being in a hot climate a non intercooled one simply would be a bad idea right?

Thanks for all the feedback.

Great replies in this thread... just a quick link to a new thread I just posted about buying and installing a Kenne Bell Stage-2 (OR) Mammoth this month as soon as I get all the answers ironed out. I truly appreciate any input if you click the link and check out a few of my Q's and offer some insight, thanks so much!

I have 49k miles on mine with Kenne Bell 2.6lc with 10 lbs.

Keep the tune at 6200 to 6500 rpms, 6200 to be safe. I run mine at 6500.

Get a shift light. Change the oil. Make sure you always have enough fuel.

Run HT0 autolites.

My WOT short term fuel trim is .78 at 6500 rpms.

Kenne Bell setup comes with a fuel pump booster too.

Have fun with it.

This will be, more than likely, never driven or timed on a track, it's just something I want to build to bring a life long childhood dream to fruition that I have been literally obsessed with since puberty. I worked mind melting hours for YEARS to actually save up enough for the car itself, and now the rest is quickly taking shape, and the $6,299 for the complete supercharger kit is within reach.

Since I'm just looking for something to offer the raw blissful power to go along with the sheer beauty of the car, I believe I'll follow along your more mild RPM suggestions with the custom tune, but I must admit I HATE Ford's factory tune settings and parameters on the stock engine, I feel as though 1st and even 2nd gear flop short from successfully maxing out just when the fun, and torque, are getting started... but I'm sure Kenne Bell will cure that 'problem!'

I am wide open to any more feedback or guidance you have, and asked another couple questions about electric water pumps and exhaust suggestions in the other thread I linked to above, thank you soooo much!
