Angry SCT Tuner help

I got my new tuner today loaded with the custom tune from Bama. When I plug it into the obd it powers up but that is about as far as it goes. The select button will not work when pressed and only the left cursor button will move from screen to screen... Any ideas...

Call. Explain. Exchange.

You could try flashing to the latest firmware from the SCT site, but if the buttons themselves are at fault..Exchange time. You just got one of the few that likely has a manufacturing issue, if this is doing the same thing when plugged into your computer. Likely ship out a new one right after your call.

Does it do the same when you plug it into a computer with the USB cord? If so, the buttons on tuner sound out of whack.

Just tried it on the laptop and i got the same results.. only button that works is right cursor. I just worried that something may have been wrong with the obd,.

Nope, sounds like a defective unit. Just call AM up and they will take care of you real fast!
