Default sweet ride killer?

I am in need once again. My car has come along well. On a mustang dyno I am pushing 376 rwhp and 489 ft lb torque. Now I have a chance for aluminum driveshaft. Will it kill my drivability? Will it help withme running these ridiculous 20's? I can buy new with install for$440. Please help. Thanks again from ky.

What combo are you running that you're getting 376hp but 489 torque on the dyno? Wouldn't that mean torque jumps from the 370 range to 489 from 5250rpm on up?

that's where I was going with my first question siggy, but figured I'd answer without that knowledge...

yea that did sound a bit wierd but the driveshaft should actually improve the overall feel of the car when its shifting

The driveshaft will help a little, but probably not by enough to completely offset 20's vs 17's or 18's.

My money is on it being a typo, but I don't know enough to say which number is bad. I'm guessing either 476 or 389 is what's really meant.

I love the way my car drives with the aluminum DS. Throttle response is improved and overall drivetrain noise was reduced in my car. I have a shaftmasters. They have the best customer service out there. If you dont like it they will take it back no questions asked. Install is very straightforward, 4 jack stands and basic tools. I say go for it.

norm may have it with typo, but since no mods were given you cannot tell which it should be (or which is incorrect)...my gues is high 300s for both...376/389?
