Default Door Windows

Hey guys, just got my new 2012 mustang 5.0 a week ago. What im wandering is what do you guys do with the door windows during the winter. Since they drop down out of the seal, wouldn't ice buildup on the window stop it from going down? It will be garage kept during the night but it sits outside all day at work and sometimes ice builds up on the windows

I live in CT....it gets cold and never had it happen to me. I wouldn't worry about it.

Buy a lock de-icer and keep it on your key chain....you could spray it in the window jam if the window sticks.

I live in indiana, and my car was outside last winter and the seals on the window are not exactly the best of the best lol. That said, I only had the window freeze on me once or twice. Both times I could have just yanked them really hard, and they would have come free (the weather stripping is what they go up into, so you could yank em without too much structural flex on the glass I guess.

But a smarter method would be to get a CD, and try and jam it down (JUST A LITTLE) to get the window free... That was a suggestion I heard on this forum last winter.
