Hello, and I could use some advise
Hello Everyone
I am close to buying my Mustang, I've wanted one for a long time and I rented one while I was traveling for work and ever since I had to get one.
The part I loved, besides it being a mustang, was Sync, I was able to plug my Zune in to the center console and play it through the stereo and it sounded amazing.
My question is, and I am looking at a 2010 & up, do they all come with Sync? as I have seen alot that do not have the USB in the console, if they do not, what option would be the best to look for to make sure I get them?
I'm mainly looking at the v6 and not the GT if this also helps.

SYNC is an option however it's very popular. I would assume owner/seller of the vehicle you're looking at would know if the vehicle is equipped with SYNC or not, one way to tell is the voice command button on the steering wheel. If the vehicle is not equipped with SYNC it will still have a AUX jack that you can connect your Zune to.

Thank You for the reply. I'm not against getting a GT, I have looked at a couple as well, but they also didn't have the USB port in them. I do know about the aux jack, but the nice thing with USB is I can control it through the stereo instead of having to change songs on the device. I can also leave it plugged in and no one knows it is there.
Based on what I am seeing, would it be safe to say that if the steering wheel only has cruise control then it doesn't have sync?

Sync is cool, had it in my 08 fusion and used it quite a bit. If the car has sync it will have the voice button on the steering wheel and a mic hole in the rear view mirror. Just keep in mind most aftermarket decks will do alot of the things sync will.

My dad's 09 Sable has SYNC. It has a SYNC badge on the center console near the shifter, so I am assuming if a Mustang (or any Ford/Licnoln/Mercury) has SYNC then another indicator would be a small badge near the shifter or elsewhere on the dash.
