Would I be rejected from the mustang community if I installed these stripes to my 2006 Mustang GT? Aren't these stripes regarded as V6 style stripes? I bought these stripes about a year ago when I was a Mustang novice, but I need a weekend project, So I'm thinking about installing them even though they're for a V6.

My 2010 white GT came with a blue rocker panel stripe on it from the factory that says Mustang GT, not a fan but I honestly haven't seen anyone else on the forum with a 2010+ rocker stripe like that from the factory

Find the ones from the V6 Pony Package. MUCH better IMO.

As much as it pains me to say this, I actually miss that car. That blue is downright sexyschmexy. I do like my GT's Candy Apple Red, but the combo of Vista Blue + White stripes was awesome. If only it was a GT instead of a V6

Agree. I have plain black 1969 style stripes on my Redfire 07 GT.

If you like the way they look, then why not. It's your car, however I'm not a big fan of white rocker stripes.

I put on rocker stripes as one of my first mods. I don't regret it because I have a silver and black theme, it helps pull everything together.
