Default What Hood to get???

My Mustang recently got into a fender bender and it bent the hood. I was wondering a few things. Does the Trufiber GTS-4 Hood fit the oem specs so i won't have to adjust the fenders too much and also is there any hood shaking with these after market hoods. Also will a 2007 factory hood with the scoop fit the 2006 mustang?

Check out Cervinis, they are known for the best quality. Quality = less prep work = less cash out of pocket. I have the type iv and love it

Fender adjustment shouldnt be necessary, no shaking with my Cervinis even without the pins, and yes, any 2005-2009 stock hood will fit fine.

Cervini's, Kaenen and TruFiber are all good quality hoods.

Steeda's hoods are great as well. I love mine but definitely put hood pins on becuase once you get above 70mph you definitely can see the cowl moving up and down. They are very light but excellent quality. I've never had a problem with mine.

I have a trufiber Venom 2 hood. Checkout my display picture. I was leery about getting an aftermarket hood but when it came in it was perfect. The dealer installed it and said it was the best aftermarket hood they every had. It came from California and I live in windsor Ontario. It was very, very well packaged. They didnt change me for anything other then the cost to paint. No prepping issues. All the lines are perfect and the gaps all around are perfect. Beautiful hood.

Hey thanks with you input, im leaning towards just a factory hood since the resale would be easier if i ever try to sale it in the future. I bought a fiberglass hood today for 60 bucks. I thought it was a still it has a few spider cracks but it is an easy fix. Plus it came with a roush bolt on hood scoop so i figure i can always just sale that and get my money back. If i decide to do a fiber glass hood do i need hood pins?

Kaenen makes Steeda hoods, that's why haha. As far as pins, throw the hood on and see if it shakes at highway speeds, if it doesn't it's fine.

I found my hood to be quite solid on highways. The fiberglass hoods are quite heavy
