Email SCT tunes
Anyone experience performance differences with email tunes ? I have a jlt series 3 CAI and a email tune from a reputable vendor but just wondering if some may be better than others. I see for example VMP asks what percent ethanol is used in gas. Maybe some squeak out a couple more hp than others ?

I'm sure that they are different vendor to vendor... How exactly I would guess would be subjective without an actual dyno tune, but if you had a dyno, why would you want an email tune...
That said, I personally would not be able to tell the difference in a couple of HP so, go with who will provide the support that meets your expectations, such as AM's presence here on the forums and lifetime tunes... I am certain that VMP is just as reputable and customer service friendly, but I am happy with AM.

There are large differences in custom, e-mail tunes. VMP, Brenspeed and AM are known for their excellent tunes which tebd to average roughly 10 RWHP higher than some of the canned tunes that come from SCT and Diablo and also the FRPP tune (which is basically the Bullitt tune that the '10 runs to boast the additional measly 15 CRANK HP).
You can't go wrong with any of those 3 that I mentioned above.
