No way they would just have to unbolt it to get the old ones out and drop in the new ones...idk going with percys dead soft gaskets and stage 8 locking bolts. Hopefully that would take care of the leaking.

are these the right bolts and gaskets. Someone told me to order the one with the M and the end cause they are longer. Btw its a 2008 are these the correct ones.

Im not convinced its even a leak. I just listened to the video. i would make sure they arent rubbing against something. It will be pretty obvious whenyou drive it around if there is an exhaust leak. I have dealt with several exhaust leaks I would locate where it's at before I look into buying anything or pulling anything apart.

To me it sounds like an exhaust leak. As the last thing you did (and hopefully the only) that's where I'd be looking. Nobody here is probably going to be able to give you an estimate on what a shop would charge you because this wouldnt be normal work for them. Unless the gasket would need replaced you'd be looking at 1 or 2 hours of labor likely.

Edit due to new information!

I went back and looked at your post about the bolt (I thought that was the stud)...you seriously put that bolt back in?? You can clearly the see the threads are crushed and that thing is stripped out. If you were my friend and I came to your house, at this point I'd smack you on the back of the head, tell you to pray Napa has that part cuz you've wasted all morning and by now Ford parts counter is closed (not that it matters because it's in a warehouse across town and you wont get it until Tuesday!) Save yourself the time and angst. Drive it down to Meineke, tell them exactly what you did, tell them to replace that for you and bring a book and you'll be back on the road and happy in 3 hours (cuz you're going to have to wait in line for a 10 minute job for those guys)
