Default 2011 Mustang Rims on 2010 Taurus/ Pressure sensor

Can the pressure sensor on the Mustang rims work on a Taurus?

I want to put my stock 18" rims on my wifes Taurus, and buy aftermarket rims for my stang.

Is there a way to disable the Pressure moniter system on the mustang so that my new rims dont have to have th sensors? Or can i take the sensors from my OEM taurus rims and put them on the new aftermarket rims for the Mustang?

Im trying to find the easiest way around these dumb pressure sensors.

Thanks

I would question the look of mustang wheels on a taurus. Give ford a call.

First off, you know what ford would say.........

Secondly, Its not your opinion that matters how they look to me. I personally believe that the 18" gt rims resembles a SHO rims very closley.

If they aren't slicers, they aren't SHO rims.

Does the mustang use the band style TPS or is it in the valve stem? If its the valve stem style, is it removable?
