Good question. Mine looked 3 times worse at 25,000 miles.

Hmmm, not sure. When I first bought the car, I pretty much only used Chevron gas. Maybe there's actually something to all those "with Techron" commercials. Plus, I don't tend to rag on it very often as this is my only current means of transportation other than my Trek 2.1 bicycle.
