i would have to think for longer than my attention span would currently allow to fully understand how expressing horsepower and torque gains in an integral fashion is appropriate. comparing gains is usually done in a straight peak to peak differential manner.
and it does seem to me that it ford wouldn't leave a lot on the table as far as the completeness of the fuel burn is concerned, especially given the effect this would have on emissions. so, to amchris, how do these coils accomplish a more complete burn? do they increase the duration of the spark or somehow cause an increase in the intensity of the spark?
