Default General post about bolt ons

Just wanted to say that I'm impressed with the few bolts on I've done on my 07. My previous 99 with exact bolt on did not react the same...Big thanks to AM for the tunes...That seems to be the best bang for your buck!

3.73's
Bama tunes
CMDP
UDP
CAI

They actually made a difference in my car... feels pretty quick - shocked...

Are there any bolts on left? Cams and LT's are next what's after that? Supercharger is not an option anymore; wife pregnant and I just bought a 85 c10 with a stroker and issues lol.

What's really necessary if I don't get a blower? Plan to lower with shocks, struts, panhard, and lca's.

IF you're lowered your going to need some LCA relocation brackets, and if I'm not mistaken an adjustable UCA to correct your pinion angle.

Then you can swap to a lighter k-member, and free up space up front.

Just browse sites like BMR, UMI, UPR, etc to get an idea of what parts they make for our cars.

Is your car an automatic or stick. If its an auto I would definetly get a torque convertor. One of the top mods u can get for an auto.

UCA will be on my list. Do most tires shops do the adjusting for panhard and UCA? I have been eyeing the ford kit AM sells. K Members are high, will check into them. Thanks for the input.

No idea, I would ask them if they've ever done pinion angle correction on a lowered car. If not I would try and find a place that does, or DIY.

What ford kit are you talking about? FRPP is great and everything, but IMO they are nowhere near the level of the mentioned companies in my previous post.

Also as a manual you could look at the CHE brace with torque limiters, and motor mounts as well.

I bolted on a supercharger and it was easier than the longtube headers. LOL LTs are nice but your car will be a lot louder. Cams sound good, power increase is nominal at the top end but you need LTs to maximize that power. IMO, if your really wanting more power, save your cash and get a supercharger.
