Default Supercharger or crotch rocket?

I have about 98,000 miles on my 05 GT. Mainly highway miles for my hour drive to work and hour drive back home every day. Almost time for my tax return so I was wondering do I have too many miles on my engine to install a supercharger? Should I just get a crotch rocket or will my engine be okay with supercharging? I change my oil every 6,000 miles with Mobil 1 full synthetic so the engine has not been neglected at all. Please help me to choose which route to go.

motorcycle gets my vote, but if you do go with s/c i do not
think you have too many miles. good luck whichever way you
go.

My votes for a supercharger

I love me some bikes, but dang I want some forced induction. Oh, and these 4.6's last forever, you're fine. Mileage seems to be just a number with these cars, basically nothing more.

P.S. I know there's "no comparison" in the speed and all, but I still just love cars a bit more than bikes. It's up to you and your interests.

You have plenty of life left in that engine. Don't fear the FI haha.

Supercharger!

if you supercharged that Mustang, its still going to be slow compared to the bike. I have a 03 Cobra and a GSXR600. My little Gsxr just feels so much faster. Bikes are cheaper for speed.

I see you have 4.10 gears. That gear may be too much for FI. I don't know from experience, but it's been mentioned in other threads I've read.

I vote rocket.

Thanks for the replies. I was really concerned about the mileage and then going FI. I did recently see though on the internet that our engines are rated in a recent survey in the top ten cars to see over 200,000 miles with no issues so I guess the engine could handle it. As long as there is not too much boost. I found a website called on3 performance that sells turbo kits for mustangs. Looks like a nice kit and there are lots of photos and you tube videos with people running them. Everything included in the kit minus the boost a pump, injectors and some other $150 part and requires you to have a tune completed on a dyno and it ships for $1,900.0. That is the best price I have seen yet unless you want to purchase a used supercharger or turbo from someone. The on3 turbo is rated to 650RWHP. I might look more into this. I do run 4.10's but I run a 275-60-15 tire on the rear so the ratio is not quite a 4.10 anymore. I installed Summits version of the Weld drag lite on my car recently due to price. I love the drag lite look and the price of tires is great. Less than 100 bucks for the 15 inch tires compared to the 180 bucks each for the 17's that I was running. I will post some pictures later so you can see the look. Anyone heard anything about the on3 turbos?
