I still have the regular fluid and I am not sure how I would benifit from changing. I don't road race, I don't drive like an asz hat, so I will never get my fluid to boil.

But, back to the topic. I wonder if there is a direct comparison or a test that has already been done.
There are two boiling points for any brake fluid, dry and wet boiling points. The higher the DOT number, the higher the boiling point. A relatively small amount of moisture in the brake fluid reduces boiling point several hundred degrees, like say from 401F down to 284F. This is the main reason to change your brake fluid to DOT 5.1 from the DOT 3 fluid Ford used in your mustang.

Dot 3 has a wet boiling point of 284F. DOT 5.1 has a wet boiling point of 374F. A big difference for 7 bucks a liter. More efficient brake cooling comes from vented rotors, like Sam Strano sells. Additional cooling can come from ventilating the brakes with the Boss 302 hoses and replacement brake shields $219.00 at LMR. Cost for Sam Stranos rotors, ss lines brembo DOT 5.1 brake fluid and HPS pads is $700.00. Cost for the Brembo system up front, varies from $1400.00 for the GT500 black brembos to $3000.00 + for the after market red brembos and slotted one piece rotors. Going the way I propose saves from $500.00 to $2100.00, which could be used on good tires and wheels. Even if you do not road race, you will be amazed at the stopping ability of this combination.
