Default 2010 GT Exhaust recommendations

I just bought my 2010 GT about two weeks ago. It currently has Pypes Bomb axle-back exhaust on it. It is very loud while accellerating and pops a lot while in de-exceleration. I would like to get a new exhaust system put on that has a nice rumble at idle, decent sound while accelerating and a fairly quiet cruise.

I've got a 74 vette w/ flowmasters that can be as loud as I like but would like to quiet down the Mustang a little. What type of recommendations do you guys have. Don't really want to try and go back to stock but what I have now is definately not working for me.

Although they are pretty rare on the forums and pricey, I installed a set of MBRP's on mine and have really enjoyed the sound. The stock mufflers are way too quiet IMO. Heres linkage to some video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_20J...eature=related . Anything from Mudflap1974 in the white GT will show you. They sound really really good (somewhere between Pypes and stock) but without the popping in deceleration and they are not nearly as loud as the Pypes. The finish is also really good and they are just great looking. http://www.lethalperformance.com/201...e-back-p-25149 . They also have ZERO drone which is great.

If I feel inclined, I'll get some video with the sound or at least some stills with it mounted on mine. They really look darn good, are quality build, and I think superior to any other after market muffler I've seen so far. I'm trying to get my hands on some Roush exhaust now but even then I'll keep the MBRPs around for car shows and road trips.

I got tons of compliments on my 2007 GT when i was running boomtube axle backs. It might be too loud for you though, hard to say. I thought it was perfect.

I'd post a video of mine but it's really hard to tell, nobody captures the exhaust sound right on their vids.

here is one anyway though..
