Haha!! I also deal with it on a daily basis, only I'm on the other side of the water headed that way. It's like I get to race in a reject Daytona 500 twice a day, potholes and all!! Had a Hyundai Veloster with a fart can and some purple wheels honking and trying to roll race this afternoon. I have a new ricer story every day.

Avoiding the potholes is like running an obstacle course ; don't get me going on the HRBT.

Good to see so many sharing the VA stories..didn't know there were so many people on here from hampton roads or familar with the area. Traffic isn't to bad when I come through; kind of early. Comming from chesapeake so after the high rise bridge its 5 lanes all the way to the 264 interchange before 564. This morning was a mazda 3speed chasing me through a crowd. I sware to you I don't make this crap up its several times a week. Gives me something to do though. I roll down the highway with my ears perked for fart exhaust pushing 6000 rpms..its a very distinct sound.

Just got into Norfolk to pick up a buddy to go hiking. As soon as I got over the bridge tunnel, an ISF, s2000, g35 and civic wanted some. Just in the past 2.5 hours. Not making this **** up.

My goodness they like to race out east. You might average one a month here. Most of the time its the redneck in a diesel that gives you carp

Lived here my entire life..and I preface this by saying I love what our armed forces members do for our country. However it is a staple of highway driving near the bases that young enlisted love to race their rice burners and crotch rockets. Now listen; I know there are some possibilities of souped up evo's or wrx, etc. however the mass majority are just four bangers making noise..one day I might get my doors blown off that is possible but it will be few and far between. The best part is they are so convinced that they can run. It's hilarious
