honestly if your going to pull hairs on mpg, a v6 should have been bought honestly.

Ive heard a tune can sometimes net better mpg's. Will need to look it up.
Also with tuner you can set your wheel size to see if that makes speedo match up

When I had my 6, after I tuned it, I was getting almost 5 more MPGs

On my 3V GT (not the same as yours, but the concept applies), when I added the UPR CAI, UPR SCT 93 Octane tune, and UPR off-road x-pipe, the car went from 21.9 MPG city to 22.7 MPG city. (and gained a lot of power to boot) Then, (and I'm almost embarrassed to actually type this out because it almost sounds unbelievable) when I added the UPR Oil Catch Can, my mileage move up to 23.1 city. It sounds ridiculous, I know. But I have read that pulling the oil vapor out of the engine makes it run better and gives better gas mileage.

Anyway, those are real world numbers on my daily driver.

I haven't found any mods that gave me better gas mileage in my 5.0

driving habits are the only thing you can change to get better mpgs.

or a different car/engine...

Yeah lol, I was about to say, best mod for better MPG, the PRIUS mod?

After watching a lot of videos, seems with full exhaust with intake/tune.. people are getting 2-4 more mpg.. and even lowering it seemed to increase it by 1mpg... but that could all be driving habbits.

26mph hwy and you're complaining? lol
