Cold air Intake and tuners
I have been looking at CAI and tuners. Two companies are offering life time tunes with the purchase, American Muscle and Stage 3. Both have impressive websites and good reputations from what I can find.
My question is are they really writing he map or tune they advertise, or do they have access to a library of tunes through the manufactor and just giving the tunes as programs they download?
Both have SCT tuner. One is Roush CAI the other Ford.

I didnt know you didnt have to buy the parts from them in the future. I thought as long as they sold the part, the tune would be free.
My only draw back may also a plus, being located in Pennsylvania. I would pay 7% sales tax, but the tune would be at the same level above sea level and air similair. This might not be a big deal with all the sensors on the Mustang, but dyno tuning Harley's the sea level vs whatever level your home is can make a difference.
Brenspeed has Ford CAI and tuner special right now. $599 AM had it lst month.
Anyone know if these companies have a discount for forum members?
