Default Question about drivers side window-power switch.

I keep my car in storage over the winter and over the weekend I decided to start it up and start getting it ready since the weather is changing.

Well I noticed that my drivers side window has an issue. It no longer goes up by itself when I flick the auto switch up. It will only move if I am holding the switch in the upward position. Also it no longer lowers that little bit when you open and close the door. The passenger side still works like it is supposed to.

Both sides worked when I parked it last fall so I can't imagine why it would just stop working now. I'm guessing it could be the switch but was curious if anyone else had any issues with the window switches?

Any ideas?

Actually I need to replace the battery.

I guess I assumed that with the motor running and the passenger side working normally, the drivers side would also.

I plan on doing that sometime this week.
You think that will solve it?

Went to the dealership for that problem. Well similar mine wasnt seating correctly and rain was getting in my car. To calibrate the window lower the window. Shut the door. Raise the window all the way up manually meaning holding the button. Do not release and turn the key to accesory. Turn back to off and release the window button. Don't know if that will fix the auto up feature but should fix that little bit it moves at the end. Long message just being through.

Try closing the door roll the window all the way down and continue to hold the switch down for at least 2 seconds after the window travels fully down. Then roll it all the way up and continue to hold the switch up for at least 2 seconds after the window is fully up. that has always fixed any auto up and small drop issues I've had.

Thanks!!!!! I did both suggestions and now it is working normal again. I did not want to have to take it in to the dealer. You guys saved me a major headache!!
