Default 302 Intake is in..

Finished up the boss intake install today and I must say I am impressed. If there is bottom end torque loss I can't really feel it. I will tell you past 5500 rpm that thing is a damn monster!!!

I will put up a pic. Just got to research how to do it haven't been around that long so never looked at how its done. And the steeda Cai does fit but it doesnt want to. And you DO NOT need that stupid 200 dollar boss kit to hook it up.

Good move brother..It "says" that there is a spot on the engine block to mount the purge valve to. There is a spot however it is a stretch to get it there really have to pull the line. Even then there is no way to get it flush I had a whale of a time. Even if you don't the positioning of that valve is such that it could be just left hanging; attach the 3/8s tubing and run it to the small valve on the drivers front right of the boss. It works damn glad I didn't buy some 200 dollar kit. If you got someone to help you I would. If for any other reason the Steeda really needs two guys working it into position. Also the brake duct hose has a double clamp and is tight as hell. You will probably need an extra set of hands to get it off. Just some two cents from someone that just did it.

I have a JLT intake on mine, I don't know about Steeda but all the JLT required was a $14 dollar coupler to attach the two.
