Default 305/40/18 Nittos

Can I run 305/40/18 Nittos on the stock 07 GT rims? Will they stick out too far, or rub any thing inside

No! The widest tire you can safely run on a 18x8.5" wheel is a 275/40/18.

305s are pretty overkill on a 10" wide too. you can make a tire bulge but that doesn't necessarily mean you are creating any extra contact patch!

Naaaaaaaa !!! Nitto's are a slightly narrower tire then others, so there will be absolutely no bulging problem with their 305/40/18 tires on 10' rims. There's a ton of us running this size without problems... And FYI, Nitto advertises the mininum rim size for their 305/40/18 at 10"
Enjoy and have fun !!

Not recommended for 8.5 rims, if your talking about a 275/40/18.
Should be at least 9" for that tire...

just in case some major tire manufacter is reading this thread...
Would someone PLEASE make the 305/40/18 is a summer performance tire instead of drag radial!!!!!!

PLEASE!!!!

With those wheels the 255/45/18 all around is your best bet imo.
Can't go wrong with the 555's...i love mine!
