I don't think you need an SC to do the boss. For me it completely changed the way the car drived for the better. The throttle response was much quicker and the car ran much smoother. There is an noticable difference in the high RPM range. It's a great bolt on for 400 bucks you can't beat it. I know the boss has some different internals than the GT however unless you spend an enormous amount of time spinning the engine past 6000 RPM it don't think its that big of a deal. Let me just say this..its worth the 400 bucks to feel what it does between 5 and 7000 RPM it runs like a champ. I know its a highly controversial piece everyone has their own opinion this just happens to be mine.

I'll most likely go with the a SC. Although it's a good piece, I'll be able to make more power with a SC. I'd do both, but I don't want a centri SC. Thanks for your thoughts, it still give me more to think about.

Holy crap, from stock to adding the Boss IM, Steeda CAI and Steeda tune...I'm dumbfounded. It scares me.
Thanks again for the pics, we had an ipad out in the garage with the link you provided, and the pics you posted for reference.

That's awesome bro!! Glad it helped. I sware something is wrong with you if you dont like that intake its a monster! And I see your ghetto hookup for the purge valve nice job. I did find that cjponyparts does sell the boss kit in pieces so if u ever wanted the bigger better fitting inlet tube the have it stand alone. How did your steeda Cai hook up go? Any issues with fitment?

i see their dyno with boss 302 intake cai and tune is like 425 rwhp.. If this is a GT though, 7500 rpm? is that safe?
Here it is stock, and with just the intake and tune, not boss 302 intake manifold :
that lack of power drop off after 6500 rpm looks nice
Mosh, what is your current rev limiter?

It is a high rpm product no doubt. Their dyno seems a bit odd. If I am reading it correctly, its a little confusing, it shows no torque loss actually a gain and honestly thats just not consistent with most dynos with the boss intake. Generally most major tuners arent taking the rev limiter past 7100 rpm 7500 I really havent heard of though that doesn't mean it isn't out there. And the boss is a different tune. Its a great addition to the car
