Default Blue exhaust tips yes or no?

I really like the look of the exhaust tips with the blue burn marks on the very end of it. I know a lot of ricers have them but the look just appeals to me. I'm buying an 06 gt today and have been looking at exhausts, none have those blue tips but it's easy to do yourself. I'm making this mustang all black, rims badges, flat black stripes. I think the blue tips will give it a little something to look at in lower rear end.

Thoughts, is this a sacrilege to mustangs?

I don't like answering personal taste questions, but I'll take a risk here...I don't know why someone would go through the trouble to do this, except ricers. To me it seems like the exhaust tips are never clean. It also looks like someone has engine problems, even though there are none. So, no I don't get it.

I'd say "it's not sacrilege". If you think you'll like the finished look, then do it! An all black car with a tinge of blue at the back will look great!

If your exhaust discolors your tips, then whatever, leave them that way, but what's the point of doing it intentionally?

Ummm, well,.... ok but I'd probably shake my head if I saw a Stang with blued tips. But IMO, the last thing I'd do to my ride would be to do what ricers do. Please don't tell us that you're installing fart cans, too.

No, don't do that. The blue tip is known as the kind on "fart cans" or riced cars. At least to me. Im assuming im not the only one who thinks that. I've seen some people with that and the exhaust is so huge you could live in it. And of course their car in general looks ridiculous. Its up to you if you want a riced Mustang and you don't care or you want to keep the classic Muscle Car impression. It definitely doesn't scream Muscle.

Burnt tips are supposed to be a sign of titanium exhausts. Unless you have a titanium exhaust, don't do it.
