Well, ideally with a VBOX, but those are hella expensive. You can get a radar gun for like $40.

OR, you can buy a '13 with the Track Apps built in.
I have a G-Timer that will measure fairly accurately.

Thanks for all the advice. Clearly starting in first gear is the way to go - I don't think power shifting is gonna happen. I will just need shift quickly.

Also - I definitely need more rubber - but until I get new wheels 275/30/19 Nitto NT05's are the best I can do (just under 11" wide). Those will get installed when the Pirelli's tread is gone - with the SC that probably won't be too long!!

nope.. it isn't.. but have fun with it.

okay, fairly accurate meaning within several tenths sure... maybe a bit more accurate than a stop watch...

Diablosport Trinity T1000 records 0-60, 0-100, 1/8 and 1/4 mile. Not a bad tuner at all, just everyone seems to favor SCT in the tuning world.

If you claim your 0-60, 1/8th or 1/4 mile times based off of a device like that, no matter how accurate people claim they are I wont believe them and I'd think less of you. I don't go around claiming my DA corrected times even though im at a 4,000' elevation track, they might be within tenths of what I actually could run but I didn't run it.

that goes for the diablo sport and G-timer devices.

As far as why more tuners favor SCT vs diablo I really don't know. It's good that so many of the best tuners use SCT because that means we can get our tunes from just about anyone. But I don't know if Diablosport makes a better tuner or not. It could also be cost, or I know SCT offers classes to teach people how to tune and become a certified SCT tuner and they provide you with base tunes for new vehicles. I don't know if diablo does the same.

just a quick search shows that the diablo trinity is $600 vs $350 for the SCT.. so that might be part of it. I dont want to spend another 150 for features I dont want.
