I was messing with the car the other day and for some reason [call it slight ocd] it really annoys me that the car isn't autolocking. I always lock it before I put the car into gear because I'm like that and I rather not get carjacked in the middle of the street. I think I do have the feature because when I follow the book instructions [with the horn chirping and all] the car is telling me that the feature is active, and yet the car isn't locking by itself. I have a manual and the book says that at 5mph it should autolock itself but it doesn't. My mom's 2006 automatic autolocks itself though, normally when it's put into drive. So is this just a thing for the automatic's?

I have the same problem with my manual '05. I've set the autolock but somehow it doesn't lock.
