That doesn/t explain why a lot of the cars are 2010 models.

Sure it does ... think if you bought a 2010 and months later ford came out with the 5.0 that made 100 more hp for the same price... i think mine would be a mis routed battery cable fire and pay a $500 deductible for an upgrade

Sorry about your car. At this point speculation is running rampant and way too early to start pointing fingers, i.e., at Ford or the "crazy" public. Also, under the circumstances it can be assumed that litigation is in your future which means STOP talking on ALL forums!!! Everything you say "can and will be used against you in a court of law".

So for your own good SHUT UP!!! Please do not be offended...I'm just saying....

I agree with the poster above to just be tight lipped and dont say anything they can get you with.

Do keep us posted on how it goes though, I suspect they are trying to keep this under the rug at all costs, just like the 6.0 Diesels and they Exhaust fires on the 6.4's

Any further updates 5.0? I understand if this is an lawyer situation, and ya can't actually say anything, but throw us a bone here..

I'd like to know what the local fire marshal actually has to say, and if they can even narrow it down should it have been accidental (if it was arson, I'm sure they can).
