..And yes, if your getting any standard wiring harness to put in an after-market stereo head-unit, you will need to bring the factory amplifiers turn-on voltage to 5v, 2.5v in 2010+. As you have a shaker 1000, that means you have to do the same for the rear, not just the front. Either via an in-line 1k ohm resistor, or a 5v regulator. Only 1 is needed still, as the same line off the 5v regulator (or in-line 1k ohm resistor) can be used to turn on both the factory turn-ons.

Both shaker units require adding the 5v regulator unless you buy the PAC unit. The PAC Units have their own requirements for Mustang installations, check their website for wiring/diode details if you have the PAC.
