Default Air Oil separator for standard 5.0????

Wondering if an Air Oil separator would be good for standard day to day driving of a stock 5.0???

AZ does have ethanol gas, but wondering if it's really solving an issue??

Absolutely. I was shocked at how much oil mine caught after just 100 miles.

It's hard to find any gas here in GA without ethanol in it. That really won't matter any way, even on pure gasoline, your gonna suck oil through the PVC valve and back into the intake. That's what a catch can does, goes between the PVC valve and intake....

I haven't taken my stang to the track yet, so this was day to day driving, although I probably drive it harder than most other people on the street

got it, thanks... The install looks pretty straight forward.

Wonder about the bracket installing with aftermarket strut tower brace but that doesnt seem like a big deal...

Default Me 2

Day to day driving, relatively normally and mine caught about 1 teaspoon in 96 miles. Haven't checked it since but it's been about 2000 more so it may be nearly full. I put mine in the day I brought her home so she will stay clean and shiny

Probably the most popular is the JLT brand, its plug and play, no mounting or hose routing and not much more expensive (119 on AM). Both Alan and I have it and it looks great and does the job. Took 5 minutes to install. So far only the passenger side has caught any, I haven't seen anyone that had a driver's side filter report any oil in that filter.
