Default Replacing Shaker 500 head unit with aftermarket HELP

I have a 2006 GT with the Shaker 500 system in it and recently the head unit crapped the bed. I just bought a JVC KW-r500 head unit to replace it. I also bought with it a Metra 70-5521 wiring harness and the dash kit. Now I wired up the main harness easily and then moved on to the smaller one, but this harness has 2 connectors and my car stereo has 3. I also realized that the way the wires are hooked into the connectors they won't match up so you'd have to move some around. Any ideas on how exactly to do this so that everything works correctly? I am lost and don't want to just plug wires into eachother by guessing and break something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am pretty sure you would not be using the rca jacks plug if you have a shaker 500. That is for the trunk subwoofer box. I know at least one of the blue and white wires is the switch to turn on the amps in the trunk...

How did the regulator fix the wiring it didn't change the fact that the wires don't line up with the factory connector

Jarine28, odds are slim to none that you will get a response. You responded to a post that is over 4 years old, and also the OP has not been on here since the date of his last post (06/01/2012).

You may want to look elsewhere, or start a new thread if you're having a similar issue.
