Default Place to find Weights for Stock Wheels

Anyone know of a good resource to find the weight of stock mustang wheels? I was looking to replace the wheels on my GT/CS with something lighter, but cannot find a site that lists the stock weights...

Any help greatly appreciated.

It depends on which wheel you have stock.
The weights are different from wheel to wheel.

18x8.5s?

well yeah, that much I know. but even given the dimensions of the wheels, the weight may vary by design... GT500 should be lighter than stock V6 wheels, etc. Was hoping for some hidden, super-secret Ford site that lists weights for the wheels by design and dimensions.

BTW.. the scales pic while amusing isn't helpful since the wheel weight vs the wheel/tire weight will be vastly different and I'm not gonna strip the tire off the stock wheels just for this comparo

From the link below stock wheels were estimated 29-33 lbs, with a gt500 owner weighing his at 35 lbs. However no manufacturer specs were referenced. http://forums.themustangsource.com/f...stangs-510406/

But going back to the scale/tire pictures, the below site list the tire at 33 lbs, so weigh your wheel and subtract and you're in the ballpark.
