Brake rotors for a 2005
Can anyone recommend a good pair of front brake rotors & pads for my 2005 GT?
My stock rotors are pretty warped at 40k miles and could use a replacement.. I had them resurfaced at 30k when I bought the car, but now 10,000 miles later they're warped..
I'm looking for a decent type, But I'm not looking to break the bank either.
I don't know if I should go with drilled/slotted rotors, or just stay with the original.. My car is more of a weekend car, and I do take it out to the track every now and then..

DD Rotors
I think the best "bang for the buck" without breaking the bank is Centric rotors from Rock Auto. I've used them and they're great, and reasonable. Don't go for the cheap, made in China rotors. They warp easily.

Replacement Rotors
I've tried lots of aftermarket relacement rotors and none have lasted very long (OEM replacent quality, not the high-end products). I have a 07 GT, and a 06 Chrysler 300C, and have found that the best replacement rotors come from the dealer (Ford OEM rotors (or Motorcraft), and Mopar for the Chrysler. They don't cost much more, and last a lot longer.

Now is the time to step up to some 13.2" rotors
(gotta have 18" rims).
Roush sells both the OEM 05-09 12.4
and the OEM 2011-12 13.2 rotors and
the 2011-12 caliper brackets for the 13.2" rotors.
$50 for the front take-off 2011-12 rotors and
$75 for the front take-off 2011-12 calipers and brackets.
You just cant beat that with a stick.
$40 for the 11.5" OEM rear rotors (mine were toast).
(gotta have 18" rims).

Roto pros are also a viable source for great quality rotors, I put dimpled and slotted rotors on the 2006 Mustang GT i just bough back in May along with Hawk Ceramic pads that came with them, I dont remeber the exact price, but with all four rotors and pads it was less than $360 but more than $300.
I have used Rotorpros during the whole time i had my Mitsu Evolution also, they have a good rep on Evolutionm.net and those cars are tracked way more often I would think than most of the S197's on this site.
Not bad for the price, fill out the quote form and they'll get back to you.
They should be vendors on here because on other forums they have killer pricing, I believe they are one of the big vendors on one of the Ford truck forums also.
