Anyone use Romar's dyno in Walden, NY?
I have never had a car dyno'ed before but I would like to see how much hp my new 2013 GT with Gt500 mufflers is putting out. Next year I plan to put a tune in and I would like a baseline.
Romar in Walden, NY, has a dyno and charges $150/hour. They are the closest to me. Anyone use their services? are they any good?

$150 an hour sounds like tuning chargers, I wouldn't pay more than $25-50 to just do a dyno run for whp numbers.
Also for baseline numbers its best do it the same day, run a baseline, load the tune, run again. That way different conditions don't throw it off.
quick guess on a dynojet you'd see 360-370whp SAE corrected.

Well, now I need to go back and see what the $150/hour is for. I sure don't want them to tune it. I was planning to use Steeda later for a tune. I wouldn't feel confident that some local guy could tune better than a company like Steeda. Just too much to risk if something goes wrong.

I feel the same way about tuning. They'd have to have a lot of experience with multiple 5.0's before I'd trust them.
My lower price figure may be for Dyno day deals, where they get a bunch of people to go in and just run tests all day. So maybe ask them if they have something like that coming up.
