may be a dumb question, but after searching around, I cant seem to figure this out....


05-09 GTs ... Are the hoods all interchangeable?

Meaning will the hood which works on a Shelby GT500kr work on a regular GT front end?

Looking at the picture in link below, can you swap the front bumper/headlamps and leave the stock GT hood on, or does it all have to be changed at one time.

You can fit a GT500 hood on a GT. There will be a slight gap but it's been done by tons of people. However, GT hoods will not fit properly on GT500 setups. Maybe someone with first hand knowledge can chime in but that's how I understand it from what I've read.

so if someone plans on making a GT500 replica, they pretty much have to do hood first, then front end if they plan on doing it in stages.
