Default Rear end noise

So i have a 2012 GT and had a shop here put in the Eibach Pro spring kit. I love the kit besides the fact overtime i hit a bump i get a noise almost like a rattle out of the back end. Is this normal?

What do you mean overtime you if you hit a bump?

No its is not normal. Go shake the car around and design you hear anything. Check your rear shocks.

so i did a little closer of a look with a friend sittin on the open trunk. and it seems that the rear axle is surprisingly close to the magnaflow competition catback I have Idk if that is the problem... need to do a little more investigation i suppose.

Well the springs did lower it, so it is possible the muffler is making the noise.

At one point my exhaust was hitting the bottom of my trunk. Get under there and start yanking and pushing stuff around. You will find it.

I finally had enough people to sit on my trunk to re-create the noise. It seems my rear axle vent on top of the axle is hitting my exhaust pipe. Any ideas on a easy fix?

Sure, here is an easy fix, Rip out the axle.

Seriously, maybe have an exhaust shop see if they can raise the pipe that extra inch. Or just live with it.

The hangers on the exhaust should give you enough adjustment. Get a large closed ended wrench and slip the hanger through the closed in, you can bend the hangers to make the exhaust work.

Also, since you lowered the car, did you get an adjustable panhard bar? Adjusting the axle would probably move the vent out of the way.
