Chicane Sport Tuning

I am in the process of purchasing an 06 GT that has Chicane Sport Tuning on the sides. I have not found any information on what that really means. I have read about the horrible murder of Joe Gosinski, Chicane Sport Tuning owner. I would appreciate any information regarding what modifications were normally packaged on the 06 GT.

It is black with only 18,228 miles on it and I am pretty excited about getting it. It will be my first Mustang!

If it's a Ford dealership, you may want them to confirm what has been done to the car. If it should have an aftermarket tune, you could have issues if you decide to have it re-tuned. A Ford dealer can determine if it has the stock tune or not.

In addition, you may want to bargain for a warranty period TO INCLUDE repair of any of the TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) items associated with this S197 model; there is a laundry list of them and some are beniegn and others are killers (such as the water leak TSB which plagues a lot of 05's thru 07's and even later).
