Hey everyone, came by to get a few opinions about 2 cars. Only one will be purchased next weekend.
I mainly need opinions on the better car/value/longevity (seeing as i'm 19, I need a car to last)
First up:
2011 Mustang GT
5.0/6-Speed(Manual)
Cloth seats
Tan Interior/Black Exterior
36k Miles
Price: 22K
(I actually test drove this one, rides amazing, with A LOT of power in stock form)
Next:
2010 Mustang GT
4.6L/5-Speed(Automatic)
Leather Seats
Side window louvers
Upgraded exhaust (Didn't ask, just could tell after being started)
27K Miles
Price: 20K
---------------------------------------------------------------
Honestly, I love both cars, the 2011 seems especially "classy" compared to the 2012, but I love the stick shift/6 speed and its a FIVE-OH!
(2010 GT)

i like the look of the 2010 but seeing it is an auto, i personally would pass. i wouldnt buy an auto mustang. As for the 2011, i like the 5.0 and the 6 speed, but idk how i would feel about having cloth seats. i love leather seats. if it was me i would wait, but of course im not the one buying it haha. good luck in your search and purchase

I chose the 5.0 in your poll, but don't knock or write off the automatics they can throw down. The automatic GT 5.0's are faster and can take a beating.
But it is your budget. Just keep in mind the payment difference is about $35-$40 a month between the two cars.
You can get that 2010 cheaper though, the 4.6L's lost value when the 5.0's came out, and being you're 19, the automatic will cost you less in the long run (Clutch replacement)
Your money, but take your age, budget and car cost into account.
If you get the 2010, check with the dealer is it has any factory warranty left on it? Also, if it is a CPO (Certified Pre-owned) ask them to throw in the premium care upgrade for 12/12,000 warranty they put on the vehicle, if it is CPO.
If not get an extended warranty. Ask them to give it to you as cost, Ford premium Care, cost is about $595 to take it to 72,000 miles. it will have a $100 deductible (Clutches are not covered) but it does come with Rental car coverage 1st day rental coverage.
The 2010 has the 404A package (Heated Leather Seats) that is one option I miss from my 2011 to my 2013. They could have at least washed it before taking pictures but it looks good. The side louvers have gotta go though, get the flush ones if you want louves... but for me that is a 70's 80's thing that has place in the 21st Century.
Which ever you choose enjoy.

If you are just interested in "the look" get the 2010...but get them to work on the price. The '10 and '11 look basically identical but the dealers around here have basically been giving them away after the release of the 5.0
If performance is what you're after, then the 5.0.....hands down. The 4.6 stands no chance against the 5.0. Even with bolt ons, a stock 5.0 will take them on power.
