I run my car at 600rwhp in the summer months and run M/T 305/45/18's on a 10 inch wide rim. The car will hook fairly well on a good surface but if I crank it up past that the tires just go up in smoke and I run an auto, which is much friendlier hooking on the street then a manual.

Just saw that you answered a lot of my questions, missed that at first.
Thanks a lot, I appreciate it and it looks like you are talking from real experience so that is great.

Probably around 50,000 miles give or take a few..
I don't use WOT in 5th gear, ever. Not because I'm afraid the motor will let loose, but because even with 4.10 gears 5th is a dog.

B326 is 326ci, it's a stroked 302.

Yeah I never did WOT in 5th either for that reason.. half throttle at most, but it still overboosted.. I stayed in it a little to long.

Do you think 800hp would be achievable if I used a methanol injection setup? I have heard of some that are automatic..
Example: If the tank is empty it will limit you to 10 lbs for example.
If the tank has methanol in it, then it will allow the boost to increase past 10 lbs and automatically spray the methanol..

A friend of mine has a setup like this on his evo, built engine, he boosts 20 lbs on 93 octane and then 30 lbs with 93 octane + methanol.

Any experience with something like this?

I don't have any personal experience with meth injection as I have never used it. I have had friends that have run meth and some had success and some didn't. As far as I'm concerned there is one rule with meth injection and that is it will fail at some point. The systems that are out there all use the same basic pump and I don't care what they say about their fail safe systems if the system fails under boost you will blow your engine.

I talked to my tuner several times about going water meth injection and he has lots of experience with it. His theory is to tune with massive amounts of meth. like 3 pump systems. That way when there is a failure the engine basically quits and doesn't destroy itself like it would with a failure and just a little meth in the tune.

You could definitely reach your 800hp goal with meth injection, I just don't know for how long.

Ford Racing claims that they will be coming out with a 5.0l aluminum block to replace the 4.6. Who knows.

I went with a 5.0 stroker from JDM because I didnt want to add 72 lbs to the front end with an iron block. I put in a tubular k-member, control arms and radiator support to counter the heat exchanger, hood and supercharger.

The B326 is fairly new and I wouldnt buy one until it has a year of service out there.

I am looking for about 650 rwhp tops on the street.

I also have a 2.66 first gear Magnum with RXT, traklok diff 3.73's. Going to have 20X11.5" rims with 315/30/20 Toyo R888's.

Any launch ratio over 10.0 on these cars on the street is pointless with too much power...

my 2 bucks...

In regards to Meth, I would be afraid of pumping up max boost and timing because I have it in the car.

I just installed it on my car as an aide, not for 100 more hp. Maybe for 1 or 2 more degrees of timing. Mostly for IAT's
