Theres no real difference in performance power on an 03 mustang and a 05... It wasn't until what 11's where horse power was increased by a 100 on each model.

I learned on an 03 gt and that clutch sucked. It was a strong a clutch. When I bought my 11 I couldn't believe how much smoother the clutch was and how easy it was to push down. I won't lie I struggled with the 03 GT because of the clutch but then again I'm guessing an 06 probably has a smoother clutch.

Some people may say that you picked the wrong car but I would say much it's much easier, my 05 has a very forgiving clutch. I learned on my 96 gt and clutch was very heavy until I installed a King Cobra clutch. All it takes is practice and yes you will have fun driving a stick even when your stuck in traffic.
